Sunday School Classes
We have Sunday School classes for ALL ages at 9:30. You are encouraged to
choose one and attend. It will make all the difference. In church you hear the word of
God; in Sunday School you see it. Please join us.

Adult Bible Class - Room 1. Committed to one another and to a strong nursing home ministry, these
seniors participate actively through monthly meals, Sunday morning Bible study, and
leading worship in local nursing homes. Singing plays an important part in their time
together. They use the Cokesbury Adult Bible Studies series.

Choose Life - Room 6-8. A broad spectrum of theological backgrounds is this class’ strength. They
are devoted to an in-depth participatory Bible study that seeks an understanding of
the people and historical settings of the biblical periods. Personal involvement with
mission includes the direct support of a United Methodist missionary. They use the
Basic Bible Commentary.

Searchers - Room 7-9. This class uses an open discussion style. Personal growth and individual
expressions of faith are important to its members.

Encouragers - Room 10. Open to all, this class uses an open-discussion format for a participatory
study of the Bible.

Open Door - Room 12. Children and families are important to the members of this class. They use
a broad-based curriculum ranging from Bible studies to Christian living in today’s
world. The open-discussion style invites members to grow together. Shared activities
including family camping trips and picnics. They currently provide additional school
supplies for elementary children in need.

Purpose Quest Class - Room 11. This class discusses various books of the Bible.

Sheepherders - Room 2. Bible study and discussion.

Parents of Teens Class - Room 4. This class is for parents of teens, and discussion revolves around parenting.

The Jugglers - Children's Activity room. This class is for parents of young children.

Nursery 1 - Infant and preschool care.

Children's - ages 3 years to 5th grade (Belief in God)
