Help for Haiti - The devastation in Haiti has created a desperate need for help that will not abate in the next few weeks. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to UMCOR (specified for Haiti) and/or donating health kits (see the bulletin board in the Narthex).
Misión de Candelilla Health Kits:  We will be building/collecting health kits on February 28 during Agape hour.  Bring your kits or kit contents (see newsletter) to the church by then and be prepared to help our Mexican neighbors.
Imagine No Malaria - It’s coming!!!  Your participation can help make  imagination a reality.
Early Response Team Training – On February 13, you can be trained by the SWTX conference to be of immediate help as part of a UMVIM team should a natural disaster occur.  Early Response teams are not involved in long-term  disaster relief, but are specially equipped to help in the first few days.  Training will be in Dripping Springs.  Contact Emmett Eary - eary@sbcglobal.net
Remember: Monetary donations for these causes are over and above your regular church commitment and can either be placed in the Sunday offering plate or left in the church office.

An information and training session for all persons with disabilities, providers of services, caregivers and other interested individuals.  February 16—9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.  Session topics include: Medicaid Waiver Programs, trusts, special ed services and employment issues. HOSPITAL VISITS
It is our custom to visit Hill Country Memorial Hospital everyday to check on members and friends who are there. Recently, the hospital has had to impose tighter restrictions on publication of patient lists; therefore, we are no longer able to look at the lists of patients who are in the hospital. Please call the office (997-7679) if you are admitted to the hospital, and if you would like a visit by one of the pastors. We want to see and pray with every person who is in the hospital, but HIPPA     regulations make it incumbent on patients or their families to notify us. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is our desire to be compliant with hospital regulations. Thank you so much for understanding.

PUTTING YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER
