About the event
Join the community and see our choir participate in the community Singing Christmas Tree!
The Singing Christmas Tree performance will take place outside the Pioneer Museum on Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday December 4th at 6:30PM. The 26-foot tall lighted Christmas tree where a volunteer community chorus (directed by our very own Don Doss) will present a family holiday concert. The tree is a giant metal structure with greenery and lights added to make the effect complete, and the singers stand on the tree at different levels. Children from the Fredericksburg Music Academy will open the program each evening.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Gillespie County Historical Society Sanctuary Hall. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Both the main entrance and the side gate to the museum on Milam Street will be open.
